R & D Biochemist

This is another technical role, generally for someone with experience on the bench or in a related Biochemist role. The Biochemist is required to refine existing processes and products in line with customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Technical support and troubleshooting
Manufacture coated microparticles and enzyme-antibody conjugates and the associated buffer formulations to GMP/FDA/ISO9001 requirements
In-process testing Performance verification
Validation studies
Equipment calibration and maintenance
Following and performing the creation, review and maintenance of SOPs and process specifications for cGMP lab systems in an FDA regulated environment
Following and maintaining GMP and GLP standards
Ensuring safe operations, attention to detail, and good documentation skills according to cGMP

Requirements

A BSc in a relvant degree, often an MSc / PhD is required
3-5 years experience in the diagnostics or related industries (Pharma / Medical Devices)
Excellent clinical chemistry knowledge
