A senior level procurement leader is required to join one of the world’s leading healthcare businesses. The Manufacturing Procurement Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategic projects, ensuring that procedures and processes are securely established to support launch and growth plans. This dynamic, experienced individual will be willing to create breakthrough strategies which deliver quick-wins and generate legitimate business value, always driving innovation.


As a dynamic, experienced individual, you will have excellent communication skills and will need to lead with initiative and ambition. In the first two years of site development you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is manufacture-ready. You will have a proven track record in;
• Product sourcing
• Supply risk management
• Supplier performance improvement
• Cost reduction
• Supplier diversity development
• Working capital involvement
• And Supplier relationship management
Stakeholder engagement will be a key aspect of this role. You will closely partner with a wide range of internal stakeholders in the establishment, communication and implementation of business goals.


• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain or Procurement-related area potentially to MBA or advanced degree level.
• Extensive professional expertise in procurement and programme management within the manufacturing environment (>5 years).
• Significant experience working with senior leaders (3-5 years) and in large-scale organisational change initiatives.
• Ideally, you will have experience in the biologics product manufacturing environment and a proven track record in project management and biologics operations scale-up experience.
