Role:
You will play a pivotal role in the early-stage development of a next generation device. This project aims to demonstrate clinical performance, safety, and technical feasibility prior to progressing through the design controls process.


As part of the role the candidate will have the opportunity to plan and execute product demonstrations, pre-clinical studies, and formative usability assessments and obtain physician, chief medical officer, and executive team input throughout the design process.

Job Requirements:

• To perform project tasks as delegated by the relevant manager in adherence to the company’s procedures which have been developed in compliance with ISO13485, the Medical Device Directives/Regulations and FDA 21 CFR 820.
• To manage and co-ordinate assigned procedures, protocols, reports and purchases relevant to the R&D tasks and deliverables.
• To propose and lead the technical assessment of new product design inputs, collaborating closely and effectively with the cross-functional team, delivering high quality, original and elegant solutions to meet physician and patient needs.
• To provide design, development and technical input to the Company’s development projects.

• Degree level qualification in engineering or a strongly related field.
• Professional Project Management certification desirable.

• A minimum of 4 experience in the area of medical devices, ideally within R&D/Product Development.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
