Systems Architect


The position


Working within a highly technical environment that utilises systems architecture, software development and analytics at its core.Work within a highly skilled and motivated team to develop technology and software for current & future Electronic sorting systemsIn cooperation with the Product Development Manager and Corporate Engineering ensure that new technologies and products are developed on budget and on time.Ensure that research is properly structured and documented.The position requires occasional overseas travel to customer locations around the world.


Qualifications



  • An innovative, creative and highly qualified scientist or engineer.

  • A person with ambition, energy & drive.

  • Professionally qualified to at least master's level in Computer science, software development or equivalent with a further post grad in Mathematics would be desired.


Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be strongly desired.



  • Software programming. C & C++

  • Systems architecture

  • Analytics

  • Optics and laser or LED development

  • Digital & analogue theory

  • Matlab or similar modelling and simulation tools.
